No w you can have Demon widebody with the cheapest NA 392. Basically what the Corvette Grand Sport is to the Z06. The “Autocross Special,” if you will. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

I was on there the other day and noticed that. I was really hoping for an R/T widebody option but we can’t have nice things haha. That would be the sweet spot for me. I don’t *need* 485 HP. The 375 would be plenty with the fat tires plus upgraded suspension/brake package.

Driving this for autocross would seem to set a person up to be in front of the Camaro drivers in rushing to the event chair to complain about tight turn elements.

Get out of here with you “don’t need” more power BS

I don’t need it. Would I take it? A bsolutely.

Autocrossing a Challenger makes complaining about tight turn elements a moot point. Even the wide turns are a struggle, one just learns to deal with it.
I’d worry more about the slalom sections, since the widebody challenger has 50% more thickness than a Miata.

Hey, as long as it’s not a Reliant Robin, you’re good.

That looks really good.
Still too bigly for me, but I like it.

If this widebody, bright blue, was on a small, mid-engine sportscar, what would your opinion be?
Hypothetical blue mid-engine sports car...

I love the engine, love the look - it’s the extra mass that bugs me.
Also, I’m crawling all over the B&P for the Challenger and can’t find the widebody option??

The Challenger carries all the weight of its DaimlerChrysler past, that’s why it’s so heavy.
Widebody is a “package” you can add for $6000 when configuring an R/T Scat Pack.

Now if only they'd do a widebody charger

Weird - where do you live? It’s NOT on there for me.

id track one of those...
i’d lightly mod it tho... fit an ls in the front powering the front wheel
turn the seats round
and run it backwards

That would be entertaining as hell - wear a helmet, OK?

If it’s a package available in CA, I’d assume it’s available in the rest of the USA?

I demand a widebody Charger

Just use more throttle...

The build’s been up for a few months now. Make sure you’re on the latest year build too (not available for 2018 MY).
Heres my post back when I discovered it, included is a link to the build page.
